The IFBB affiliates National Federations from 193 countries and is a member of the SportAccord (former General Association of International Sports Federations – GAISF) and the International World Games Association (IWGA); it is recognized by the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) and over 90 National Olympic Committees (NOCs); as well as being a member of the World Anti-Doping Agency, that has recognized the IFBB as the only authority in bodybuilding, whose anti-doping program is in full compliance with the WADA Code.

 

IFBB plays as well an active relationship with scientific and sport international organizations; being conscious of the benefits that a bodybuilding lifestyle can play in the population's health; and the specific applications as an ideal anti-aging lifestyle for which the best examples are the legion of outstanding athletes that participate in our master categories (over 50´s, the '60s, 65’s…).
 

Events for young athletes (including children’s fitness) and female sport are some of our most active programs.

Message From The First Vice President 

Exceptional Success

The IFBB International Academy for Bodybuilding and Fitness in Dubai has succeeded in its mission since it began its academic career at the level of the region, specifically in the UAE and at the level of the Middle East more than six years ago. And it achieved exceptional success, which was an example of excellence and professional work that is consistent with the approach, philosophy, and style of the International Federation, led by Dr. Rafael Santonja, and all members of the International Federation and all its working committees.

 

The success achieved by the Academy over the past few years has been a source of pride for all of us as Arabs and officials in the International Federation, and as responsible for leading the helm of bodybuilding and fitness at the Arab, African and Egyptian levels.
 

The wise leadership and great experience of his excellency Colonel Abdul Karim Muhammad Saeed, Chairman of the Academy's Board of Directors for the Academy's work system, contributed to achieving all this success. And that the great and remarkable distinction that the academy has achieved over the past years, which resulted in the crowning of the title of the best academy in an outstanding performance in the world, and honoring its president with the title of “Man of the Year” during the celebration of the International Federation 2018, and his honoring also by the Arab Union with the title of Ambassador of the Arab Union in Enlightenment, Culture, and Education. During its last general assembly in Alexandria, it did not come out of anywhere but was achieved with the effort and sincerity of those in charge of it, including the president, vice president, and members.
 

In conclusion, we are very happy with this success and distinction, wishing for further development and success that befits the name of the academy and the status, experience, and history of those in charge of it, led by Colonel Abdul Karim Muhammad Saeed...

Mission And Goal

 

Since the first day of its accreditation by the International Federation of Body Building and Fitness, the IFBB International Academy for Body Building and Fitness has set its sights on the task of developing, refining, and qualifying coaches and all those interested and lovers of bodybuilding and fitness in the Middle East in the form and level that suits them and the size of their ambitions in the field of This beautiful and fun sport that shows the beauty and muscular coordination of the human body.

 

The confidence of the International Federation in us and the size of the experience we possess, and the size of our history in the field of this beautiful sport facilitated our mission to take the helm of this noble task, which aims to create a generation of competent coaches who are able to train and qualify champions to take the podiums at the international and global levels.

 

We have devoted all our energies and capabilities to bring the Academy to the level it deserves, through the use of the best and strongest international lecturers in various fields and from all over the world to achieve the desired hopes that are commensurate with our vision and consistent with the approach, vision, and objectives of the International Federation.
